Downtown Construction
Construction on the Downtown Office at 204 Main Street began in 1914. The new office opened its doors for business in April 1916.

West Office
The West Office at 1491 Broadway was built in 1971.

East Office
The East Office at 840 Mankato Ave. was built in 1998.



Raising of the Columns
At the time the columns were erected in 1916, they were among the largest gray granite columns in the United States.

The Mammoth Steel Vault
Given this title in the original 1916 souvenir booklet, the vault was built by Deibold Safe and Lock Company of Canton, Ohio, which has long been considered the leader in vault equipment.

Our Lion
One of the many trophies on display from the original owners' 1924 African safari, the lion towers over the teller line in our lobby.



Staircases
Made of white marble, two stairwells lead from the first floor to the third floor. The stairwells are designed to provide an elegant passageway to the third floor’s artistic splendor. Top-grade mahogany railings wrap around the staircases.

Original Tiffany stained glass
The famous Tiffany Studios of New York created all of the building’s stained glass windows from architect George Maher’s sketches.

Original Furniture
An example of the original Prairie School inspired furniture. Built in 1916, it is still in use today.
