On June 20, Winona National Bank held it’s first summer concert of the year. The concert featured Bob and the Beachcombers, the $1 lunch, root beer floats, and milkshakes. The June concert drew over 1,000 attendees and was a huge success. After selling 1,400 hot dogs and hundreds of root beer floats and milkshakes, the concert raised $1,742.75 for the Friends of the Winona Public Library.

The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to maintain a relationship with persons interested in the library, to focus public attention on the Winona Public Library, and to receive and encourage gifts to the Winona Public Library.

Be sure to join Winona National Bank at their final summer concert on July 18 at Central Park. The July 18 concert will feature Ron Sacia and the Fat Daddys and all proceeds will benefit Ready Set School.
